EP. 19 - in conversation with visual artist, filmmaker, public speaker and activist from Belarus, Tasha Arlova. (This conversation was recorded in October 2021, and due to political reasons taken down from the platform for a while.)
In her recent work, Tasha looks back at her homeland, Belarus, exploring different ways in which the country is represented in the “West”. Her art practice as well as curatorial and activists engagements all attempt to subvert the "Western gaze" showing the East in a fresh and informed way.
